Lineage Statement Model output from the CARICOOS Nearshore Wave Model, a state of the art wave forecast system based on the Simulating Waves Nearshore (Simulating WAves Nearshore model (SWAN)) spectral wave model. Model is run on CARICOOS HPC facilites. Only the regional PR-USVI grid is included in this product, however, high-resolution subgrid output is available upon request. Starting with Version 2 in 2012 the model output collection has progressed through several model versions. The latest version, SWAN Version 10, came online on October 1, 2024.
